The 2014 Byron Bay Writers Festival has been hailed an outstanding success, with sell out crowds, sunshine, overflowing marquees and a stellar lineup of internationally acclaimed guests.

There was something for people of all ages and interests; literary geniuses, acclaimed writing professors, Australia’s finest musicians, kids’ authors, spoken word performances, signature dinners and more.

This is one event we’re particularly proud of, having supported the festival since its inception. In fact, we were the founding sponsor.

Jeanette Winterson’s keynote address attracted about 1,000 people, and tents spilled over for Andrew Denton and Andrew Knight in conversation with Geoff Lemon. The session with Malcolm Fraser and Kerry O’Brien was also a huge drawcard.

Other highlight included surprise performances by Australian musicians Missy Higgins and Darren Hanlon.

And here is another great video produced by local student Tim Eddy.
