Relocating to Byron Bay

Thinking of relocating to Byron Bay?

Here’s what you should know.
Do your homework. Try to get a feel for the different areas within the Byron Shire to try and figure out where would suit you best. For some people it’s all about the proximity to the beach whilst for others, access to the highway or being close to schools may be important. So a good starting point is Google Maps and if you are in the area, then just drive around. You’ll quickly get a feel for the areas which you like. Take into consideration access to transport, proximity to beaches, shops, schools, future developments and how long you will commute to and from work.
Many people who are relocating to Byron decide to rent a property for the first 6 to 12 months whilst they get a feel for the different areas and learn about properties and prices. If you’ve moved to a new area it can be very daunting trying to buy a property when you have not yet learnt what types of properties, where, are worth what. So renting for the start of your relocation can give you time and freedom to speak to the local agents, chat to neighbours and get a feel for the community to make sure you’re making an informed decision when it comes time to purchase.

It is our aim to be leaders within our industry and we strongly believe we must constantly re-evaluate the way we do business to ensure we are evolving as quickly as the world and technology around us. It is for this reason that we are constantly pushing the boundaries and doing new and interesting things. We are the first agency in Byron Bay to show rental properties on Saturdays, so it’s easy for people relocating from interstate to catch a flight to Ballina, which is only 30 minutes away from Byron and inspect our available rental properties.
