Mullumbimby Agricultural Show
This week Byron Shire welcomes back to the community the Mullumbimby Agricultural Show.
Formed in 1907 and being the longest running not for profit organisation in the Brunswick Valley, the Mullumbimby Agricultural Show is a celebration of a diverse and evolving agricultural, horticultural and livestock industry.
Continuing to share the traditions of past while showcasing innovations within agriculture, horticulture and rural industries to their patrons, this is an all encompassing event and will showcase a wide variety of educational, interactive and entertaining displays.
The Mullumbimby Agricultural Society continues to support, educate and promote agricultural, horticultural and pastoral excellence and innovation. They are primarily responsible for staging the event and strive to bring together the best for a weekend of agricultural, horticultural and pastoral competitions, displays and demonstrations, exhibitions, entertainment, commercial exhibits, carnival rides and a variety of food stalls.
When the Mullumbimby Agricultural Show Society was founded it created an opportunity for local farming families to share their knowledge and is still run by a core group of dedicated volunteers.
From rural traditions to our modern day lifestyles, the Society continues to provide entertainment and education for all community members plus competitions to all ages.
