As with any industry, there is always a difference between the best practitioners and those who are merely participants. We can now speak from our first-hand experience and confirm, without reservation, that our time with you has shown us a perfect example of Industry “best practice”. You were patient and kind enough to fully absorb our thoughts and used this information to identify a likely property match, which pleased us and I’m sure would have also pleased the Vendor. Tara was like a breath of fresh air for us. She had a clear vision of how she wanted to market the property and what would be different this time, from the word go. She had data ready to help explain how she would do this for us. She was always honest about potential pricing of the home and never inflated the figure just to try to engage us as clients, unlike previous agents. Above all, she was always respectful of what this property meant to us emotionally as our family home for 35 years and that it was the final abode for our deceased parents. We quickly recognized her professionalism and efficiency. Tara’s highly effective communication strategies were evident in person, on the phone, in email and print. Costings were always explained clearly and concisely and we have not been surprised by any unexpected bills. She has always been highly personable, non-judgmental, confidential and dignified in her dealings with us as a family and as individuals. The property was tenanted at the time of sale by somewhat prickly occupants, we had three owners in three different locations and with varying expectations of marketing strategy and price. This could have been daunting to the hardiest of agents, but the overwhelming reaction from Tara was a clear “We can work with that”, “We can work around that” and “We can make that work.” She has negotiated successfully and diplomatically with the tenants for us to allow access to the property for regular inspections, as well as ad hoc building and pest inspections. Tara liaised seamlessly with the Property Managers at First National whilst the tenanted property was listed for sale. We relied on Tara’s professional experience and knowledge of the area and the price range to help us navigate the sale of the property. She never told me what to do, but gave me evidence and information which allowed me to make sound decisions. I have no regrets about the decisions I made due to the firm foundation on which they were based. Tara also demonstrated that she was well-practiced in the minutiae and legal proceedings of the sale, and was aware of differences in legislation between NSW and Qld (which was confusing for us). She walked us through the process step by step, told us when we needed to take a particular course of action or when we were required to do nothing except wait to hear from the conveyancing solicitor or herself. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Tara during this campaign. She has made a stressful event far less stressful, and we thank her very much for her professionalism, time and experience.
